How do I access the property?

Check-in is simple! Your smart lock access code is the last six digits of the phone number used for booking. The code is active from 2:00 PM on your check-in date until 10:30 AM on your check-out date. Enter the code on the keypad to unlock the door, which locks automatically upon closing.


What are the parking arrangements?

• Hideaway and Retreat Guests: Park in the left driveway on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Guesthouse Guests: Park in the main driveway.

• Street Parking: Ample street parking is usually available, except during netball season (mid-March to early September), when parking may be limited on certain days.


Are pets allowed at Waratah Stays?

Yes, Waratah Stays is pet-friendly! A $10 per pet per night fee applies and for clarity we ask that guests provide details about their pets during booking and follow the pet policy outlined in the Guest Handbook.

What laundry facilities are available?

• The property offers a laundry room with a condenser dryer. Note that these dryers take longer to dry clothes.

• You can also line-dry your clothes using the provided clotheslines and airers.

• Older towels are available for utility purposes, such as cleaning spills or for pets.


Is there air-conditioning throughout the house?

Yes; regardless of what room you stay in, you'll have access to air-conditioning should you visit during a hot weather period.

Check-in and Check-Out Times:
We offer flexibility with checking and checkout times please communicate your needs in advance and we will do our best to accommodate.

What kitchen amenities are available?

• Guesthouse and Hideaway: Fully equipped kitchens with cooking and dining essentials.

• Retreat: Kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, and small appliances.

If you require any specific kitchen tools or items, please let us know.


Is there a specific policy regarding cooking odors?

Yes. Guests are encouraged to cook but should minimize strong, lingering odors. Use fans and open windows while cooking to keep the space fresh. Additional cleaning fees may apply if deodorizing is required for future guests.


What should I do if the smoke alarm goes off?

The property is equipped with interconnected smoke alarms. If one alarm is activated, all alarms will sound. To reset a false alarm, press and hold the reset button on each smoke alarm until it is silent.


What should I do in case of an emergency?

In case of an emergency, dial 000 for Ambulance, Police, or Fire services. You will need to specify the service required and provide your address. For non-emergency medical needs:
